The Alsatian Friends at the Heart of a Caring Advent

During this Christmas season, the spirit of solidarity shone brightly once again in Alsace, thanks to the dedication of Partage Tanzanie – Les Amis Alsaciens.

On the weekend of the first Sunday of Advent, the association took part in the Vendenheim Christmas Market, in the town that hosts PT-AA. Visitors to their stand discovered delicate table decorations as well as handcrafted crochet and lacework, the result of patient and generous effort.

Thanks to these sales, €152 was raised and fully allocated to the Victoria Programme, directly supporting the children and families assisted by Partage Tanzanie.

The spirit of giving continued in December with PT-AA’s participation in the opening of a window on the giant Advent calendar. During this event, the association ran a refreshment stand—offering mulled wine and spiced cake—raising an additional €87.50, again entirely benefiting projects in Tanzania.

These warm moments perfectly illustrate how local commitment can have a tangible, lasting impact far away.
