Julia meets Neema in Ruzinga

An emotional encounter between a godmother and her goddaughter, promising a better future.

In March 2025, Julia, a godmother since 2023, came to Bukoba accompanied by her brother Florent to meet her goddaughter, Neema. Neema was born in 2020 in the village of Ruzinga (VP 20). Having lost her father in 2021, she now lives with her mother, Jastina, and her older brother, Rickson, aged 7. Also living in the family home is their cousin, Josephat, aged 12. The meeting was a deeply moving experience, filled with simplicity and warmth. Julia and Florent visited the family home, shared a glimpse into their daily life, and truly appreciated the importance of their support. Neema is not yet in school, but next year she will join the Montessori Kindergarten established by Partage in her village. This is a crucial step for her future, one that Julia was able to look forward to with joy alongside her goddaughter and her family.
